It fits in a small 8 inch water pan
In emergency outdoor conditions could be placed in a small puddle for drinking water will provide drinking water for several hours in below freezing conditions could cycle between 2 units for longer periods of water availability
The dogs I exposed this system to showed no fear of it
Dogs willingly drank for the pan of water
